The execution required both agricultural ingenuity and immense patience. Ureta selected a variety of tree species to create the guitar's visual details. The body's "soundhole" is formed by a cluster of blue gum eucalyptus trees, whose silvery-blue leaves create a distinct circular hue. The strings and fretboard are delineated by rows of cypress trees, their dark green foliage standing out against the lighter tones of the surrounding fields. The rest of the guitar's shape is filled with a mix of pines and other eucalyptus, all growing in soil more commonly used for industrial-scale crops. For years, the scale of Ureta's labor of love remained a secret known only to those on the ground. Its full majesty was invisible, a drawing waiting to be seen from the correct perspective. The tribute was ultimately revealed to the world by chance, when a commercial airline pilot flying over the region noticed the extraordinary pattern and reported it.
